Hi! Thank you so much for your question! You could use cherries from a jar depending on the variety! May I ask which variety you’re using and what they are jarred in (syrup, their own juices, etc)?
hi! it does not specify the variety anywhere, just says that the cherries are pitted and slightly sweetened (ingredients list cherries, water and sugar)
That should be fine! I would just dump the whole tin into a saucepanpan, add the balsamic vinegar and reduce as is! Definitely taste and see if you want it a bit sweeter and adjust sugar/balsamic as needed!
